Kelty Late Start 2P - Lightweight 2-Person Backpacking Tent

The two-person Kelty Late Start 2P tent is a breeze to set up, thanks to its color-coded attachment points and handy pole sleeves. Additionally, it offers excellent ventilation and reliable durability at an affordable price. Measuring 85" x 54" (at its widest point), the tapered tent provides an interior area of 29.5 square feet, with a peak height of 40 inches. A single vestibule protects 7.85 square feet of storage space. The two aluminum poles are pre-bent to create extra room inside the tent, and pockets at each corner keep one end of the pole secure as you move around to deal with the other end, preventing the common problem of tent poles jumping out of grommets.

The tent features a single door, with No-see-um mesh walls and a tough 68 denier fabric floor, water resistant to 1800 mm. Internal storage includes a ceiling pocket, and the tent body is protected by a waterproof 68 denier rainfly with all seams sealed to keep the water out. The freestanding design allows for easy pitch and relocation to find the best site. The tent comes with Kelty's Shark Mouth stuff sack, designed to make packing up in the morning a breeze.

Kelty's Quickcorners make setting up the Late Start 2P tent fast and easy, with the pole sleeves at the tent corners and pre-bent aluminum poles creating a formidable frame. The durable 68D polyester fabrics in the tent's bathtub-style floor and flysheet are waterproof and built to last, providing a roomy interior with a peak height up to 56 inches within a simple single-door design.

The full-coverage rainfly in 68D Polyester with 1200 mm waterproofing and C0 coating offers ample air flow even in rough conditions while keeping the interior dry and protected. Kelty, as one of the four founding members of The Conservation Alliance, has always strived to protect wild spaces, and this tent is made with DWR/PFC-free fabrics and coatings, reducing waste and negative environmental impacts.

The Kelty Late Start 2P tent comes with a single door, one vestibule, and inner gear pockets for ample storage. The 1P model offers 20.6 sq. ft. and a 37-inch peak, the 2P model provides 30 sq. ft. and a 40-inch peak, while the 4P model boasts 56 sq. ft. and a 56-inch peak.
